Winter Break #2
During the last week of Winter break I went snowboarding a lot with my friends. I went about 5-6 times the last week. Then my snowboard broke. I went of a rail and the end of the rail was pried up from the snow and cut the front of my board. I also went to Wisconsin (thats where I was snowboarding and my board broke). In Wisconsin my family rents out this huge cabin every year. My cousins from Iowa and Ohio come and stay in the cabin with us. While we were at the cabin we hike in the woods, sled, and watch movies at night. This was one of my favorite years at the cabin because. My uncle got to come up too. Normally he has to work but he got the week off to spend time with us.
Winter Break #1
For the first few days of winter break i hung out with some friends. We played video games, went snowboarding, and saw a few movies. I don't remember what movies we saw. For christmas I asked for these headphones called Astro-A40. These headphones are really nice because they come with a mix amp which allows you to turn up and down all the different sounds you are hearing. These headphones are mainly for video games but you can also use them with TV's, computers and ipods. Other than that I don't really know what else I want. A few of my friends have these headphones and they really like it.

No Country For old Men #4
Today I finally finished the book. I read about 150 pages within the past few days. The whole book is just a chase for the money and Chigurh (the criminal). I can't say I hated the book but it was not one of my favorites. The book was very predictable and there was no big ending. I thought the ending was really dumb because it ended with the sheriff who is not even one the main characters. This book was not nearly as good as the Road. I guess I just had really high standards for this book since I enjoyed reading the road so much. I would recommend this book to other if they liked books that were just a huge chase. There was a lot of blood and violence but a lot of the violence was unecessary which made it kind of dumb and not as suspencful.

No Country For Old Men #3
So far I have still only read 30 pages in No Counrty For Old Men by Cormac McCarthy. I have not read at all since my last blog so there is not much to right on. From what I've heard from my friends is that it is a really good movie, but the book is a little worse. I have not yet seen the movie and my mom wont let me see it until the project is done because she think I wont read the rest of the book then. The beginning of this book I think is a really good attention getter, at least for me it is. I have never read a book and had someone get brutaly murdered within the first few pages. Then again I really have not read that many books to say its rare to have that happen. I really hope the rest of this book has as much action as the first few pages. I am really excited to read more.

No Counrty For Old Men #2
My outside readin book is No Country For Old Men. I still have not really started this book yet. So far in the book this guy is about to be put to death for murdering sombody. He is in prison and he is being taken to the electrical chair. They put him down in the electrical chair and he grabs the sheriffs hand and throws him to the ground. He murders about 3 people I think to get out of prison. Some how nobody noticed any of this happen and he gets away unseen and unharmed. Since I am now finished with reading The Road hopefully I will have time over to break to read at least 100 some pages. When I finish this book I want to watch the movie and compare the movie to the book to see which one I enjoy more.

No Counrty For Old Men
For my outside reading book I am reading No Counrty For Old Men by Cormac McCarthy. The reason I chose this book is because I am really enjoying the book The Road and I thought I would try another one of his books to see if I like it. I have not yet started the book yet but I have heard good reviews on both the book and the movie. I have not seen the movie yet but I have been wanting to for awhile now. All I know about the story is that a guy finds a pickup truck surrounded by a group of dead men. Inside the truck is a load of heroin and two million dollars. The guy takes the money and sets off. In my opinion I think that sounds really good and I am hoping it will be just as good as The Road.
